Apple announced on Monday sweeping changes in its products, the first day of its annual conference on worldwide developer (WWDC).
The manufacturer for the iPhone has confirmed rumors that it changes how it names software updates. Intoread, when using the version number, will use Apple system with a number that represents a year after the update is recorded. Another update of Apple will be iOS 26 and will arrive in autumn for most Apple users.
The change of names applied to all Apple products. For example, other iPad updates will be named iPados 26 and other MacBook updates will be called MacOS 26.

Apple announced other changes such as the new AI design and feature. The company has made all new testing features starting from Monday through the Apple Development Program, while the public version of Beta will be released next month and this autumn is introducing a wider update.
“We continue to the procedure of each of our platforms with multiple ways to take advantage of Apple Intelligence, as well as a beautiful new design, our product experience becomes even smoother and more pleasant,” Apple Cook said during the main lecture.

1. A new design with liquid glass
Apple made its biggest design update with a new design element called Liquid Glass. The translucent element that Apple used to create new buttons, switching, table and notifications across its products looks like a glass on the screen and takes over the color of its environment.

2. A lively translation will be integrated into the iPhone
Apple brings live translation to messages, facetime and phone to translate text and sound on site. The artificial intelligence feature is supported by AI models on Apple, which operate quite locally, so personal conversations are never uploaded to the cloud.
Live translation means that users can speak together in different languages and have the attraction of the translation on the screen in real time. For example, if the user receives an iMessage in another language, this message may decide to be transferred to their preferred language. 3. Visual intelligence is sharper
Apple brings more AI capacities with visual intelligence. Users can participate in their iPhone cameras and use to ask the Chatgpt questions. They can also search Google or Etsy to find products similar to what they look at.
Visual intelligence also recognizes when the use looks at the event poster and can extract the data to be added as an element in their calendar.

4. Training friend on Apple Watch
Apple adds AI companion for Apple Watch training called Workout Buddy.
Workout Buddy is considering Apple Watch, such as heart rate, tempo, distance and previous exercise, and uses this knowledge to motivate users during their training with verbal encouragement.
For example, when a user starts running, Workout Buddy could say: “Great work of starting running. This is your second run this week.”
